I can find no reference on the internet or in my library to the “Seven-Point Hotel”. The style looks like 1890s South Side, the sort of building built south of Oakwood Boulevard for the 1893 World’s Fair, then converted into slum apartments when the neighborhood went downhill. April 12, 1956.
Edit — I found some references to this hotel in old newspapers. I was precisely right about the location of the building, right in the heart of the ghetto just south of Oakwood Boulevard:
